Guerrilla Rep is a collaborative troupe of theatre artists co-founded by Terrence Beswick and John Caldon and working in residence at Mama Calizo's Voice Factory in San Francisco. We seek to engage, entertain and enlighten our audiences by developing and presenting provocative, socially relevant new work from Bay Area playwrights.
We aim to investigate timeless themes for contemporary audiences through experimentation with technology, process and form in juxtaposition with traditional elements of theatre, such as plot, character, sound, and image. Toward these ends, our goal is to create a diverse company of practitioners, reflective of the culture and times in which we live, and engaged in an ongoing and evolving inquiry into both dramatic content and theatrical technique.
